Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction with Anne Soulet

This course will teach mindfulness in daily life, which is important for beginners in meditation. The week will involve a combination of formal instruction, sitting and walking meditation, silent work periods and mindful meals. Participants will be instructed on the art of paying attention to their daily activities. There will be daily interviews, both in group form for non-specific questions, and one-on-one interviews for personal questions.

Participants will learn the practice of being in the moment, focused on one activity. Anne will explain how to be mindful of ones actions - drinking a glass of water, eating an orange - in practice before leading participants to do by themselves. There will be instruction and guidance for every step of the practice.

It is encouraged that people bring their own cushions or seats that they would normally use, to ensure their comfort.

This retreat is suitable for meditators of any experience, including beginners.
